Teaching Excellence at UZH for newly appointed Professors

Category Description
Content

The Teaching Excellence course for newly appointed professors at UZH offers professors the opportunity to further develop a scientifically sound basis for teaching and learning at UZH, supporting them in planning and conducting student-centred courses. Participants apply the content directly to the design or redesign of their courses.
Participants explore the didactic potential of artificial intelligence and learn how to integrate AI tools into teaching to foster deeper student engagement and competence development.  The course also provides a platform for exchanging experiences and challenges with peers, reflecting on one’s teaching practice.

•    plan your course in an activating and competence-oriented way using constructive alignment.
•    organize and reduce your course content with the help of a Concept Map.
•    appropriately assess the learning success of students.
•    provide competence-oriented feedback.
