Content Are you about to start teaching at the University of Zurich? Do you want to make sure your first steps are confident, well-organised and engaging? 
In this short, interactive online workshop, you'll get the essential tools you need to plan your courses effectively, engage students, and provide them with constructive feedback to support their learning. 
Aims

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • structure and plan a course in a way that promotes learning.
  • apply selected higher education teaching methods to conduct courses at a university. 
  • provide constructive, learning-oriented feedback that supports students in their learning. 
Target group

Doctoral candidates, postdocs and teaching and research assistants with no or little experience in university teaching who are about to start or just started teaching at UZH.

IMPORTANT: The course does not meet the requirements of the faculty of medicine for the postdoctoral lecturing qualification (Habilitation).

Working at UZH, Master's degree from an accredited university
